Carbondale UNICO is a community-focused organization dedicated to making meaningful contributions to local causes and charitable initiatives throughout Carbondale, PA. As an active chapter of UNICO National, we combine our passion for community service with a commitment to preserving Italian heritage and supporting education. Our organization has a proven track record of philanthropy, having distributed thousands of dollars to deserving local organizations including the Red Cross, Carbondale YMCA, and Special Olympics. We also provide educational scholarships to local students, helping to promote Italian heritage and support the next generation of community leaders. With 54 active members and strong leadership including national and district-level officers, the Carbondale UNICO chapter continues to grow and strengthen its impact. Our mission extends beyond charitable giving—we work to honor and perpetuate the culture and ethnic heritage of Italian immigrants while educating our members and the broader Carbondale community about the values that define our organization.
