About Cedar Grove Unico

UNICO means "Unique" or "only one of its kind". The acronym signifies U-unity, N-neighborliness, I-integrity, C-charity, and
O-opportunity to serve. Our Cedar Grove chapter of UNICO was founded in January 1986. Since then, our membership has seen excellent growth. While our membership is comprised of Americans of Italian ancestry, or whose spouses are of Italian descent, our dedicated activities are directed toward the betterment of our entire community.

In addition to providing scholarships, the Cedar Grove Chapter of UNICO National supports the Jimmy V Foundation for Cancer Research, St. Jude's Children Hospital, and Cooley's Anemia Research. These are among the national causes we have supported over the years.
