About Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere

The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere is a not-for-profit organization that celebrates everything Italian via a myriad of exceptional public program offerings: language and cooking classes; art and photo exhibits; film and fig festivals; opera luncheons and casino nights; Italian car shows and fashion shows; live concerts and theatrical performances; guest chef experiences and wine tastings; Bocce to bingo (tombola) … it all happens at Casa Belvedere!

Also, integral to our mission is restoring the foundation-owned building. Built by the Roebling-Stirn family in 1908, this Italianate-style, neo-Renaissance building is one of the few remaining of its kind in New York City. This multi-million-dollar rehabilitation project began in 2010 and is ongoing.

Casa Belvedere (house with a beautiful view) has established itself as a vibrant and buzzing community cultural center and an anchor in the community.
